The Scrapbook School kits and packs come in two file types: scaleable vector graphics (.svg) and portable network graphics (.png).
PNG files are print-then-cut images that you will print on your color printer, and then Cricut will cut them.
SVG files are designed with layers. After uploading and saving, you will see the layers in the Cricut Design Space Layers panel.
Here’s how to upload files to Cricut Design Space:
- Select Upload on the Design panel on the Canvas's left side. Choose Upload Image.
- Select Browse and locate the .png or .svg image you want to use from your computer or drag and drop the file into the upload window.
PNG files
- Choose “complex” image. Click Continue.
- Save your image as a Print-then-Cut image, then select Upload.
- It will appear in Uploaded Images at the bottom of the screen. To add the image to your project, select it, then choose Add to Canvas.

-

- It will appear in Uploaded Images at the bottom of the screen. To add the image to your project, select it, then choose Add to Canvas.
