Carolyn Wheeler, The Scrapbook School

About

Mission

I help people use creative journaling prompts to decide what to create and make something meaningful — without overthinking or pressure.

My work blends writing, visual storytelling, and hands-on making through pages, books, and prompt-led projects that support reflection, expression, and creative momentum.

Prompts are at the center of everything I do. They reduce decision fatigue, quiet the blank-page spiral, and give people a clear starting point so creativity feels freeing instead of stressful.

Pages in Progress™

Pages in Progress™ is a collection of prompt-based tools and creative journaling experiences designed to help people move from “I don’t know what to make” to a finished page or project.

Instead of starting with layouts or supplies, Pages in Progress starts with a prompt — a question or idea that guides both the writing and the visual choices that follow.

The system includes journaling card decks, guided journals, workshops, and studio-style sessions that support creative journaling as an expressive, hands-on practice.

Pages may include photos. They may become scrapbook pages. They may turn into handmade books. The format is flexible — the starting point is not.
